History

Classic Precision Engineering was founded in 1987. The company started with two very enthusiastic skilled engineers from two different backgrounds, one from the Injection moulding industry and the other from precision production part manufacturing. From the outset the company has always had a forward thinking philosophy and in 1991 the company expanded to new premises quadrupling in size with plans to expand in both sectors. We have always been a proactive company, ready to move with the times, whenever it has been needed for the benefit of our service to the customer.

With this approach and the demise of tool making because of overseas competition it has since moved on to the aerospace industry and completely left behind this sector of manufacturing.
Approvals have been a factor and now with companies requiring stringent quality control it has made the step forward and achieved ISO 9001:2000 as well as EN 9100 quality control standards.

Working environment was a key element of the companies philosophy for the future so in 1999 another move took place to larger premises. The location was strategic for easy access to major motorways and distribution purposes. Since the move over half a million pounds of investment in state of the art machinery has taken place to give many customers the best quality parts at the most competitive prices. The company has attracted further interest now in many other industries such as packaging machinery, design and build projects, and to add to the aerospace sector a major role with AIRBUS in Germany on the design and build piece parts for the A380 aircraft.

Capital investment plays a major roll within our plans to give all connected with the company confidence that it will be a leading engineering company for many years to come.
